Start scuba diving in 3 easy steps!

We make it easy for you to complete all of your academic requirements for your entry-level scuba diver certification online. You can get started right now and, when you are done, you will then complete your classroom review session, in-water skill-development sessions and final open-water training dives at our dive center! It’s that easy! Now, let’s get started!

Step 1: Start Learning!

Start your Open Water Scuba Diver course and complete the academic information online in the comfort of your home. You can complete this self-study process, at your own pace, in the convenience of your home or office. All eLearning courses work on mobile and tablet devices too. Once you’ve completed the online training you’ll have a classroom review session to cover any further material that you may have questions about. Next you’ll be off to the pool!

Step 2: Get Wet!

The next step will be to complete your in-water skill-development training. This takes place in a swimming pool or similar body of confined water, under the supervision of an Instructor. Once your classroom session is complete we will schedule your pool session and open water checkout dives!

Step 3: Go Diving!

The final step is to complete the required number of open-water training dives under the supervision of your Instructor. Here you will apply what you have learned during your academic and confined water skill-development sessions, while learning practical lessons that can only be gained through real-world experience in open water from our boat, Depth Perception, located at Lake Pleasant. We can offer other amazing places to do your final check out dives, just ask your Instructor or the shop staff for available options!
